Actually, Hendrix's early show at Berkeley was both filmed & taped. Even the soundcheck was taped. You can see him wearing different clothes in the video, though the songs are cut into tiny pieces. Apparently all the footage not used in the film has been lost. A few early-show songs have been released here & there on different releases. The first show I think was sharper & more energetic, the late show more laid-back; that was the general pattern when Hendrix played two shows.
Early-show setlist:
Fire, Johnny B Goode, Hear My Train a Comin, Foxy Lady, Machine Gun, Freedom, Red House, Message to Love, Ezy Rider, Star Spangled Banner, Purple Haze, Voodoo Child
